David Oastler, uploaded a video a few weeks ago that went over a majority of the details and specs of the CAME-Single gimbal. Recently, he shared this follow up video with us about using the CAME-Single on multiple wedding gigs he shot.

In the first half of the video, David Oastler gives a quick rundown of his personal experiences using the CAME-Single. In the second half of the video he provides some test footage from different  weddings he shot where he used the CAME-Single to follow the bride and groom walking. The CAME-Single is great for cameras like the Panasonic GH4, Sony A7s/A7rII and/or the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera. If you haven't seen David Oastler's first video, make sure you check it out below!

James Norden, posted this quick test of him using the CAME-Mini 2 gimbal! The video consist of James taking the Mini 2 gimbal out on the street and following someone.
He was able to balance his Sony A7RII with the Voigtländer 21mm f/1.8 lens. James Norden does state that his setup did exceed the max weight the Mini 2 can handle. The CAME-Mini 2 is a tool-less gimbal that provides the shooter with incredibly smooth footage. It's really easy to balance your camera on the gimbal and it only takes four rechargeable 18650 batteries.

"Overall I'm very impressed with the CAME Mini 2 - with the right lighter lens it will produce excellent results." - James Norden

Recently, Tom Antos, posted this detailed review of the CAME-Single 3-axis gimbal. He does state that he was using a Sony A7s with a big lens that might of exceeded the max payload the CAME-Single can handle, but it still worked well and gave him steady footage. In this video he demos the Single with a Sony NEX-5R.

Tom Antos, goes through great detail on what the CAME-Single comes with and how you would normally setup/balance it. The cool thing about the video is that he actually cuts in some "behind the scenes" footage of a recent shoot he worked on using the CAME-Single. The CAME-Single works great as a portable gimbal that you can easily bring around with you.

Laurent Briere, shared with us another one of his beautifully shot marathon videos in which he uses the CAME-Single gimbal with his Panasonic GH4.

Laurent Briere, follows hundreds of youths and adults running in this marathon that has been going on for 28 years. The CAME-Single is lightweight enough for the shooter to run side by side with a subject as they run, walk or jog. The brushless motors with encoders make the CAME-Single gimbal extremely stable and efficient.

With less than a month a way for the long awaited Star Wars movie, check out this CAME-Mini 2 test by Maxime Le Bec!

He follows the BB-8 using a BMPCC with a Zeiss 50mm F1.7 lens balanced on the CAME-Mini 2 gimbal. The video is just under :30 seconds, but it demonstrates how stable the Mini 2 gimbal can be when trying to follow a fast subject. The Mini 2 has a clean and professional appearance by having all the wiring internally, so that it won't get in the way as you shoot. It takes four rechargeable 18650 batteries, which slide into the horizontal cross bar.

Laurent BRIERE, posted this quick video of him filming some of his friends at a skatepark with his Panasonic GH4 and CAME-Single gimbal!
The CAME-Single is great for getting steady footage when you're shooting a scene that requires you to follow a subject that's continuously moving around. Laurent BRIERE, has posted a lot of videos in which he follows athletes as they compete in some form of competition. The CAME-Single is a 3-axis gimbal that's designed for you to use one-handed. The new encoder technology allows the CAME-Single to use less power, but also increase the overall stability.

It's made of aluminum alloy and weighs in at 0.66 pounds without the camera and batteries. Since, we introduced the CAME-Single with new encoder technology, the CAME-ACTION also uses brushless motors with encoders, which will decrease the power consumption and increase the overall stability.

Ken Lauguico, posted this video that highlights a wedding he shot using the CAME-7500 and CAME-Single 3-axis gimbals. He used two different DSLR cameras, the Canon 6D and the Canon 5Dmkii.
The video has a ton of great tracking shots that follow the bride and the groom as they both get ready for the ceremony. The CAME-Single is  a great one handed gimbal that provides extremely steady footage because of the brushless motors with the new encoder technology. The CAME-Single is great for cameras like the Sony A7sii, Panasonic GH4 or the BMPCC.

Here's a quick informative video on how to check the voltage on your gimbal batteries!

If you happen to have a multi-tester laying around, it would be a good idea to check the batteries you have for your gimbal. You want to make sure your batteries are fully charged before testing the voltage.

Screen Shot 2015-10-30 at 11.10.29 AM

The 18650 batteries for the CAME-TV Mini/Mini 2 and the 16340 batteries for the CAME-ACTION gimbal should be reading at 3.7v or higher. The 3S Lipo Battery for the CAME-7800 and 8000 should be giving you a reading of 11v or higher.

1080 Digital Media, recently uploaded his second test of him using the CAME-Single gimbal. The majority of his first video was how it performed while walking. 1080 Digital Media, states that the main focus on this video was for driving and "following a person" shots. He used a Panasonic GH3 recording at 50fps, but states that Vimeo re-conformed it to 25P.

This is mainly a test for driving shots and following (a person) shots. These 2 areas are the rig's strong points so far.

Since the CAME-Single has brushless motors with encoders, it has the ability to make your driving shots incredibly smooth and more stable.
