MrCheesyCam, recently uploaded this quick video that goes over a prototype version of our latest Wireless HD Video Kit called the "Crystal-800". The Crystal-800 is currently available for pre-order and please note that there maybe some changes to the final version. Check out the video below!
The CAME-TV Crystal-800 is a long range wireless video system that can transmit HD video up to 180/60fps at a distance of 800 meters (or 2,600 feet). The unique feature of the Crystal-800 is that the receiver will also create a Wifi SSID that allows you to use an iOS device such as an iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad as a wireless monitor.

Many of our newer gimbals such as the CAME-Single, Mini 3, Argo, etc. now come with a wireless remote that allows you to toggle between profiles and control its pan/tilt movements. To charge the remote, you'll simply need a Micro USB cable and plug it into any wall outlet or portable USB charger. These Micro USB cables are very common, as they are the same type that charge many Android smartphones and numerous other mobile accessories.
Last month we released a brand new accessory for the CAME-Single, a wireless joystick that allows you to control its pan & tilt movements remotely. It's definitely been a hit with customers so far. However, whether you are a current CAME-Single owner, or if you're looking to one day get one, it's important for us to point out that not all Singles will be compatible with the wireless remote upgrade.
So how do you know if your Single is capable of the upgrade? The most important thing to note is that ALL CAME-Singles purchased after November 1, 2015 have been modified to contain a brand new circuit board that allows for connection of the wireless joystick receiver. CAME-Singles purchased before November 2015, will not have the same board, and hence are not capable of the wireless joystick upgrade.
If you do have a newer generation Single with the modified circuit board, then installation of the wireless remote receiver board is easy! Simply open up the handle, connect the receiver board to its corresponding port, and pair the remote. Full instructions can be found in the video below.

CAME-7800 Gimbal Used In This BMX Video By Tempo Media UK
Tempo Media UK, went out with his Panasonic GH4 and CAME-7800 and shot this video that showcases BMX rider, Jay Cowley.
The video shows how the CAME-7800 gimbal can be a good piece of equipment to have for shooting action sports like BMX, skateboarding, rollerblading, etc. The CAME-7800 is a great gimbal for DSLR cameras like the Canon 5Dmkiii or mkii but can also work with smaller cameras like a Panasonic GH4 or Sony A7s. The 100m HD Transmitter Kit make it extremely easier for the shooter and the director to collaborate together. The shooter can be filming as the director watches from a distance on an external monitor. The transmitter takes a common Canon LP-E6 battery and the receiver uses a Sony NP-F570/F750 battery. Syncing the transmitter and receiver requires you to simply cycle through the numbers by clicking the "Mode" button then hitting "Ok" to confirm.
