Youtube user, Red Carpet Vlog uploaded this BTS video of him using the CAME-Optimus on a recent wedding shoot! The camera he used with the Optimus was the Sony A7sii paired with the Sony 10-18mm lens.

All motors on the Optimus can rotate a full 360 degrees without limitation for greater range and flexibility during operation. The Optimus model also features encoders and allows for one hand operation, but with all of the controls and battery now relocated outside of the handle, the hand grip for the Optimus can be changed to Dual Handles, depending on the camera operator's requirement. Make sure you check out Red Carpet Vlog's first Optimus test video below!

Jeff Estanislao, uploaded this highlight video that covers the "Underhill Art Exhibition" in Sydney, Australia. It was filmed using the CAME-TV Single paired with the Sony A7s & Sony 10-18mm F4 lens!

The CAME-Single is a solid one-hand designed gimbal that is made for cameras like the Panasonic GH4, Sony A7Sii/A7Rii series cameras and the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera. The whole gimbal(including parts) fit in a protective portable hard case. The encoders on the CAME-Single: prevent the motors from losing sync/skipping steps, provides important information about the frame and also decreases the power consumption - increasing the battery life.

Tell us a little about yourself and the videos you create.

I am an independent filmmaker with a passion for highly creative cinematography. I graduated from Georgia State University in 2010 with a Bachelor’s degree in film & video production and a minor in public policy. Since my graduation I’ve setup Happy Shiver Productions, which produces artistically inspired online video content for industry leading brands and causes. I collaborate with highly successful Youtube channels with over 15 million combined views and growing. My passion projects focus primarily on documentaries and experimental art films. My creative work has been featured in film festivals and received awards, including Best Cinematography & Best Editing in the experimental category at the Women’s Independent film festival 2015 and more. Aside from commercial and creative endeavors, I am constantly seeking to collaborate on projects that combine my passion for artistic expression with a desire to raise awareness, help address fundamental social issues and provide exposure for unique sub cultures.

How did you decide on choosing our CAME-TV Single?

I chose the Came-TV Single because it addresses issues I have with previous steadi rig systems. In the past I used the Glidecam, but it took time to get the right shots the first time since it is manually operated, was trickier to balance and was harder on my upper body. As soon as I signed on to work with the Global Sports Development Program in the Middle East for 2 weeks I knew there had to be a few changes made to my kit if I was going to survive such an intense run n' gun shoot. After doing days of research I stumbled upon the Came-TV Single just as it was being released and ordered it on the spot after reading as much as I could about its specs and capabilities. The Came-TV Single became the most essential piece of kit on that trip and created a lot of ease where the Glidcam rig would have created a lot of strain. The Came-TV single has substantially improved my production quality, which is always a goal.

Do you use the CAME-TV Single often?

I use the Came-TV Single on every shoot now. It is absolutely my number 1 rig.

For action-oriented moments that feature sports, events, dancing, etc. it is absolutely ideal and in those shooting scenarios I often will only use this setup.

What is your typical camera setup when using our CAME-TV Single(camera & lens)?

My typical camera setup for the Came-TV Single is usually the Sony A7S II with the native 10 – 18 mm lens. However, I also use the GH4 with the native 12 – 35 mm lens.

What kind of style do you typically try to aim for when shooting videos?

My signature style when shooting most videos is to utilize highly creative untethered cinematography. I like the camera movements and composition to feel so unique and free that you feel like you’re there with an almost limitless view of the best action.

Good cinematography is like a silent actor, providing those subtle psychological nuances that push the story forward. The Came-TV Single allows me to get the kind of shots I’ve been dreaming of— the shots that best communicate the action of a story.

Would you recommend the CAME-TV Single to other videographers/shooters?

I would and already do highly recommend the Came-TV Single to other videographers. It is definitely a game changer DSLR filmmakers.

How often do you go out and shoot videos?

Because I also edit and market most of my own content I don’t shoot on a regular basis, but can also get crazy busy and sometimes shoot everyday for 2 weeks. It really depends on my schedule and the needs of the client or project.

What do you like best about the CAME-TV Single?

What I like most about the Came-TV Single is that it has made my cinematography ideas easier to achieve because the design of the device is so user friendly.

Where does your inspiration to shoot videos come from?

My inspiration to shoot videos comes from the need to communicate life in an artistically inclined way. I’ve dabbled with several different art forms, but film feels like the most powerful medium. I am so inspired by the cinematography ideas that come to me based on the subject and kit I am using.

What is your favorite type of shot you like to achieve?

My favorite type of shot isn’t really a specific shot, but rather it is my favorite to be able to snake around and follow action as it happens. I can think on my feet and not have to plan so extensively, which is ideal for live action and documentary. I can just follow action as it unfolds in a creative way and I love that.
