The CAME-Single gimbal has a max payload of roughly 2.6 lbs and is perfect for camera setups like the Panasonic GH4, BMPCC, BMMCC and the Sony A7s/A7r series cameras. The CAME-Single is designed to be used one handed and is extremely portable while its packed in the hard case that it comes in.
With my Sony A7s and 16-35mm f4 lens.. Not to forget my Came Gimbal Single.

Along with the test video, he wrote up a very detailed article about his experiences with the CAME-Single paired with the Sony a6300 and Sony 16-35mm lens. In the article he does mention that he had to modify the Single's QR plate because the 16-35mm lens barrel was hitting the plate. His workaround was to add two washers to the QR plate to raise the camera up slightly, so that the lens barrel clears. We encourage you to check out his article, which you can read here.
A couple of things I like a lot about the CAME-TV Single is I didn’t need any tools to balance it and no software tweaks to get it to work right. This is a huge time saver in the field.
A bit of a struggle to balance my Sony A6300 on my @cametv single with this Canon 200-400 F4 but once I did it has easily become my go-to gimbal lens!
I almost managed it by strapping a 6kg weight onto the hot shoe but it wasn't quite right. When I added a LCD screen protector film it made all the difference.
It's amazing flying this at the end of the lens with the 1.4 extender engaged on the lens and 2x clear image zoom on the Sony! All gimbals should be used at 1792mm equivalent field of view!
Cheers to @bepied for the lens and the photo! If there is any confusion please read my bio...😉 via Instagram http://ift.tt/1S4V1Xa
The CAME-Single has a max payload of roughly 2.6 lbs, making it perfect for cameras like the Panasonic GH4, BMPCC and the Sony A7SII/A7RII series. The CAME-Single is equipped with an updated battery that has a higher voltage output, which provides more power and stability to the gimbal. The new battery is also internal, which mean you don't have to remove the battery from the handle to charge them. The Single's tool-less design make balancing your camera setup on the gimbal quick and easy.(Camera, Monitor and articulating arm not included)
Youtube user, Nuborn Pictures, uploaded this fascinating video that documents his trip to Thailand. He used a CAME-Single and his Sony A7Sii with two different lenses - a Walimex 24mm and a Walimex 50mm.
The CAME-Single is one of the first commercially available 3 Axis 32 bit basecam controlled gimbals to offer brushless motors with encoders. Encoders are often used in robotics for highly accurate monitoring of motor positions. The benefits of using encoders are to: prevent motors from losing synchronization/skipping steps, provides important information about the frame and camera angles, decreases power consumption ( for longer battery life), increases torque and precision of stabilization. For more information on the CAME-Single gimbal click below! This beefy little rig is VERY impressive for a hand held stabilization device. Now part of XFactor Aerial's equipment arsenal. #stabilized #cinematography #cametv via Instagram http://ift.tt/1MT69tf
#gimbal setup with his #Sony #a6300 and #Zeiss #sonnar #24mm lens!
Totally forgot I had this lens as was on my A6000 which I haven't used in quite a long time! The @carlzeisslenses Sonnar E 24mm F1.8. Crop sensor only but nice on the A6300 and the very cool @cametv single which I am pretty impressed with.
I will upload a little clip to my Facebook page that I just shot to test it. Nothing fancy. Cats and cameras are featured! via Instagram http://ift.tt/1S9YH9r
The CAME-Single is a 3-axis gimbal that is completely tool-less and extremely portable. The entire gimbal(including the parts) all fit in a protective hard case with foam padding on the inside. The max payload for the CAME-Single is about 2.6 lbs, which is perfect for smaller/lightweight cameras like the Panasonic GH4, BMPCC and the Sony A7S/A7R series cameras. Check out Jeff Estanislao's other wedding video were he uses the CAME-Single gimbal, also.
