Vimeo user, Hungry Boy Productions posted this short film called "Nolan" that was shot with the CAME-TV Single gimbal & the BMMCC (Blackmagic Micro Cinema Camera). The lens he used with the BMMCC was the Panasonic 12-35mm lens.

The new version of the CAME-Single has internal rechargeable batteries with higher Voltage built into the handle which allows for more power and stability to the system. This change allows the CAME-Single to operate for up to 20 hours. The max payload that the Single can handle is about 2.6 lbs, which is perfect for lightweight camera setups. The CAME-Single now comes with the new Dual Gimbal Handles, which gives the shooter smoother camera pans and tilt motions.

Youtube user, Scotty Ray uploaded this wonderfully shot backpacking video that documents his hike up to Clouds Rest in the famous Yosemite National Park. He filmed the video with the CAME-TV 7800 and Sony A7s. The two lenses he used was the Rokinon 14mm and the Zeiss 24-70mm.

The CAME-7800 3-Axis Camera Gimbal from CAME-TV is a handheld stabilizer designed for camera systems such as Canon 5Dmk3, Canon 5Dmk2, Canon 7D, Panasonic GH4, and Sony A7. It utilizes three motors that stabilize the camera along the pan, tilt, and roll axes. The CAME-7800 features a clean design that hides all of the wires. As with most sled-style stabilizers, your camera needs to be properly balanced in order to get the best performance out of the gimbal.

Our Latest Featured Customer Video Is With Stein Olsen Who Uses The CAME-Single To Shoot A Test Video In Norway!

Tell us a little about yourself and the videos you create.

My name is Stein Olsen and I live in Kristiansand, Norway. I make my way of living by working full time as a freelancer within photography and video production. Educated from film school in Oslo and University of Hertfordshire, London.

There is no set path to what video i will make next due to me being a bit impulsive and often quickly decides to go out and shoot a lot of footage. If there is a chance for me to create, i grab it and i love to capture the world as i see it.

How did you decide on choosing our CAME-TV Single?

I take on many assignments for real estate agents and now I will also offer to shoot video of the houses. Therefore, i needed a solution which was easy to set up and worked instantly without any hassle or struggle. Being used to work with Glidecams and various shoulder mount products i felt it was time to find something else.

I had never heard of CameTv before my research on various gimbal stabilizers, but i found it to be very interesting and i wanted to give this one a go before i tried the more known brands. This one was also the first I've seen with the possibility to reset the gimbal without going on the computer and fix it. And no need to fiddle with the PID values is fantastic.

Do you use the CAME-TV Single often?

The gimbal will be used a lot more from now on since more real estate agents will be asking for videos and i will make a lot more shorts to show off the CameTv's fantastic features.

I will create a car commercial soon and a fictional short where the CameTv definitely will be my chosen tool for the projects. Also another short from Maldives is in the making and it will look great!

What is your typical camera setup when using our CAME-TV Single?

Today, i use the sony A7II with a Sony Zeiss 16-35 f4 as a preferred setup but that is only until the Batis series from Carl Zeiss will be available.

What kind of style do you typically try to aim for when shooting videos?

I tend to shoot product videos and to show off new technology. But a fictional film is in pre production so the CameTv will be used for it all.

Would you recommend the CAME-TV Single to other videographers/shooters?

Absolutely! I have a lot of equipment that is trying its best to help me stabilize footage. Only the CameTv proves to prevail and i can happily simply sell it all and only keep the gimbal.

How often do you go out and shoot videos?

For me its not often enough. Whenever there is a chance I take it.

What do you like best about the CAME-TV Single?

It works! It is simple to set up. It can handle a good amount of weight. You are up and running in no time and it delivers the quality and stable shots you need!

Where does your inspiration to shoot videos come from?

The world is my playground 🙂

What is your favorite type of shot you like to achieve?

That has to be the when running in a forest where elements pass by. Any dynamic shots where there is a lot if movements and you get a real sense of depth.

Is there anything else you would like to share about your CAME-TV Single?

I am thoroughly enjoying the CameTv. You don't need anything else 🙂

Briazi N Gongj, uploaded this boot camp video that was filmed entirely with his CAME-TV Single Gimbal and Canon 70D with a Canon 10-18mm lens. His setup weighed in at about 2.1 lbs, which is barely reaching the 2.6 lbs max payload!

The design of the CAME-Single allows the shooter to use it with just on hand. A 1/4-20" and 3/8" thread is located under the handle for mounting options. The Single's internal batteries are fitted inside the pistol grip handle and the built in Joystick can be used for controlling camera positions and changing modes. The Dual Gimbal Handles provide gimbal operators smooth camera panning and tilt motions. The tool-less adjustment of the handles provide easy configuration of the desired operating angle and spacing.

CAME-TV Single 3-Axis Gimbal

Youtube user, Matthew Buckman uploaded this quick review on our CAME-TV Single Gimbal. Matthew, recently took our CAME-Single to France were he used it to film a 3-day event at the beautiful Chateau Vaux-Le-Vicomte. Make sure to read the full review on the article he posted here.

He used two different setups with our CAME-Single to film the event. His first setup was the Sony A7RII with a Sony 16-70mm lens and his second setup was with the Sony A7SII with a Zeiss Loxia 21mm lens.

So overall, I absolutely loved shooting with the Came-Single paired with my a7-series cameras. The a7rII and a7sii have the in-camera stabilization that helps smooth things out even a bit more. And I shot everything on the gimbal in 4K so I have plenty of room for the Warp Stabilizer to work with. I don't know how many people out there were like me and had stuck with their Glidecam because they never got comfortable on a MOVI or Ronin, but if there are any of you out there, you may want to give this or the upcoming Optimus a try.
