Johnnie Behiri from Cinema5D, passed by our booth at NAB 2016 and talked to us about some of the new products we were showcasing at the convention. This interview is all about our new CAME-TV Accordion Jib!
The CAME-Accordion features an extending scissor arm that puts the camera right where you need it. The Accordion motion allows the arm to extend 4.7 Meters (15 feet) out and then retract back in. The drive is powered by a V-Mount battery (Not included) and is controlled by a rocker switch. The max payload is 15Kg (33 lbs) and works well when it's paired with our Argo, Prodigy or Mini 3 gimbal.

Vimeo user, Blu Sky Films, uploaded this quick real estate tour video using our CAME-TV Optimus gimbal with a Lumix 7-14mm lens!
The CAME Optimus has a new frame design, which allows the gimbal to be operated completely inverted or underslung. The single handle has a built in Joystick, but the Optimus will also include a wireless Joystick Remote and on a single charge the Optimus can run up to 10 hours. All the motors on the Optimus can rotate a full 360º without any limitation, giving the gimbal greater range and flexibility.

The CAME-Optimus is the successor to our very successful CAME-SINGLE gimbal. The Optimus model also features encoders and allows for one hand operation, but with all of the controls and battery now relocated outside of the handle, the Single handle can be changed to Dual Handles depending on the camera operator's requirement. All motors on the Optimus rotate a full 360 degrees without limitation for greater range and flexibility during operation.

Youtube user, Navajo Productions, decided to take the CAME-TV Single and his Sony a6300 camera to the streets to see how well they work together. He used the Sony a6300 16-55mm kit lens.
The CAME-Single is a 3-axis 32-bit gimbal that is designed to be used with just one hand. The Single comes with encoders built into the motors, which prevents the motors from losing sync, skipping steps and it decreases power consumption - giving the gimbal a longer battery life. The Dual Gimbal Handles provide gimbal operators smooth camera panning and tilt motions. The handles can also be configured to act as a stand when the handles are positioned right angled to the cross bar.
