The CAME-Action is one of the first commercially available 3 Axis 32 bit Basecam controlled gimbals to offer brushless motors with Encoders. Encoders are often used in Robotics for highly accurate monitoring of motor position. Some of the benefits of using Encoders are to: prevent motors from losing synchronization and skipping steps, provides important information about frame and camera angles, decreases power consumption (longer battery life), increases Torque, increases precision of stabilization, and more.

CAME-TV Prophet Test Video With The Sony FS5 By Luzice
Youtube user, Luzice, took out our new CAME-TV Prophet Gimbal and grabbed some test shots with the Sony FS5!
While, the Argo contains a dedicated 2-handed setup, the Prophet comes with a single handed pistol grip handle (similar to the CAME-Optimus), but with the option to use them with a variety of compatible two-handed accessories - including the Orbit-Two Ring Mount, Dual Handles and Tessera. The updated frame design also allows for the Prophet Gimbal to be operated completely inverted or underslung.

The CAME-Prophet is the successor to our very successful CAME-Argo gimbal. Both the Prophet and Argo are designed to support small to medium sized DSLRs with a maximum payload of 6.6 lbs (3 kg). However, while the Argo contains a dedicated 2-handed setup, the Prophet comes with a single handed pistol grip handle (similar to the CAME-Optimus).

The Single's internal rechargeable batteries are fitted inside the pistol grip handle and the built in Joystick can be used for controlling camera positions and for changing modes. The size of the Single is perfect for mirrorless cameras such as the Panasonic GH4, Sony A7s | A7RII, and BlackMagic Pocket Cinema Cameras. The gimbal has a quick release camera plate and has tool-less adjustments for easy and fast camera balancing.

The Optimus model also features encoders and allows for one hand operation, but with all of the controls and battery now relocated outside of the handle, the single handle can be changed to Dual Handles depending on the camera operator's requirement. All motors on the Optimus can rotate a full 360 degrees without limitation for greater range and flexibility during operation.
