Youtube user, Erik Naso, uploaded this quick test run he did with the CAME-Single gimbal!

Along with the test video, he wrote up a very detailed article about his experiences with the CAME-Single  paired with the Sony a6300 and Sony 16-35mm lens. In the article he does mention that he had to modify the Single's QR plate because the 16-35mm lens barrel was hitting the plate. His workaround was to add two washers to the QR plate to raise the camera up slightly, so that the lens barrel clears. We encourage you to check out his article, which you can read here.

A couple of things I like a lot about the CAME-TV Single is I didn’t need any tools to balance it and no software tweaks to get it to work right. This is a huge time saver in the field.

I'm pretty sure that exceed the max layload @philipbloom lol! Pushing the #cametv #single #gimbal to the limit with his #sony #a6300 and #canon 200-400 lens! ・・・
A bit of a struggle to balance my Sony A6300 on my @cametv single with this Canon 200-400 F4 but once I did it has easily become my go-to gimbal lens!
I almost managed it by strapping a 6kg weight onto the hot shoe but it wasn't quite right. When I added a LCD screen protector film it made all the difference.
It's amazing flying this at the end of the lens with the 1.4 extender engaged on the lens and 2x clear image zoom on the Sony! All gimbals should be used at 1792mm equivalent field of view!
Cheers to @bepied for the lens and the photo! If there is any confusion please read my bio...😉 via Instagram http://ift.tt/1S4V1Xa

Totally forgot I had this lens as was on my A6000 which I haven't used in quite a long time! The @carlzeisslenses Sonnar E 24mm F1.8. Crop sensor only but nice on the A6300 and the very cool @cametv single which I am pretty impressed with.

The Sony a6300 continues to be a popular camera with more and more camera tests being uploaded. In this video, PIGMINTFILM, tests the autofocus features of the Sony a6300 camera with the CAME-TV Single gimbal. The lens he used was the Sony FE 28mm f2.

The CAME-Single is a tool-less 3-axis gimbal that is designed to be operated with just one hand. With a physical weight of about 1.31 kg, the CAME-Single has a max payload of about 2.6 lbs. It was made for lighter camera setups like a Panasonic GH4 with a Lumix 12-35mm lens or a Sony A7s with a Sony 28-70mm lens (more camera and lens compatibility can be seen on the product page). The new internal battery produces a higher voltage output, which will give the Single more power and stability.

Dan Chung, from newsshooter.com posted this test video and article about his experience with the autofocus feature of the Sony a6300. For the video, he filmed a dance group using the a6300 paired with the CAME-TV Single gimbal.

The CAME-Single is a 3-axis gimbal that is designed to be used with just one hand. The encoders that are built onto the brushless motors make the gimbal more stable and precise while you shoot. On one charge, the CAME-Single can last roughly 20 hours because of the updated internal rechargable battery. The Single has a max payload of about 2.6 lbs, which is perfect for smaller/lightweight camera setups.

CAME-Single 3-Axis Gimbal

Johnnie Behiri, from Cinem5D.com, uploaded this detailed article on the new Sony A6300 camera. Along with a well written article, Johnnie Behiri, posted a test video in which he used the CAME-Single with the Sony A6300 and a Sony 16-35mm F/4 lens.

Although, brushless motors with encoders have been available for a little bit now, the software used to control gimbals have recently added support for encoders. The CAME-Single is one of the first commercially available 3-Axis 32 bit basecam controlled gimbals to offer brushless motors with encoders. It can hold camera setups up to  2.6 lbs, which is perfect for mirror-less cameras like the Panasonic GH4, BMPCC and the Sony A7S series cameras.
