Vimeo user, Media Collaboratory, uploaded this quick video of him grabbing some footage with his new CAME-TV Single gimbal. His camera setup was a Panasonic GH-4 with a Lumix G 14mm f/2.5 ASPH II lens and it was all shot in V-Log.
The CAME-Single is designed to be portable and easy to use with just one hand. It's completely tool-less, so that there's no hassle balancing or making minor adjustment while your camera is on the gimbal itself. There are two main pieces of the CAME-Single - the handle and the frame, both of which have their own padded cut out in the hard case. Having the gimbal in two pieces allows the shooter to be able to quickly break it down and bring it to different shooting locations. The max payload of the CAME-Single is about 2.6 lbs and can work with lightweight mirror-less camera setups.

You4reel, uploaded this short highlight video of the Miss Ireland 2015 competition. He filmed it with a Panasonic GH-4 balanced on the CAME-7800 gimbal.

The CAME-7800 is an upgraded version of the old CAME-7500 and comes pre-assembled. The 7800 has an updated quick release plate with tool-less adjustments on the roll and yaw axis, making it easier to balance your camera on the gimbal. Although, you4reel doesn't state what type of lens he used, the CAME-7800 is able to hold more weight than our Mini 2 gimbal. It has a max payload of about 6.5 lbs and is perfect for your Canon 5D model DSLR cameras.

Vimeo user, llija, uploaded this quick test CAME-TV 7800 gimbal test. The whole test was shot with the Nikon D600 plus a 17-35mm F.28 lens.

With a max payload of about 6.5 lbs, the CAME-7800 is perfect for DSLR cameras like the Canon 5D series, Nikon DSLRs and even Panasonic GH-4s with a heavier lens. The CAME-7800 comes pre-calibrated with a 32-bit Alexmos control board and is tool-less on the Roll and Yaw axis, making it easier for you to balance your setup on the gimbal. There are two different version of the CAME-7800 that you can purchase - the 7800 gimbal by itself or with a case and a balancing stand.

Youtube user,  JBF (Johnnyboy Films),  recently uploaded this fanmade music video he shot for the song "Everything" by the band Black Skirts. It was shot using the CAME-Single Gimbal and the Panasonic G7! He also mentioned that he used three different lenses - the Lumix 12-35mm f2.8, Lumix 20mm f1.7 and the Sigma 17-50mm with a Micro four-thirds adapter.

The CAME-Single is a 3-axis basecam controlled gimbal that is designed to be used with one hand. It has a net weight of of about 1.2kg(roughly 2.6lbs), making it easy to carry around with you on different types of shoots. The CAME-Single is great for smaller setups that don't exceed 2.6 lbs - like mirror-less cameras such as the BMPCC, Panasonic GH-4 and the Sony A7S/A7RII cameras. It has a built-in joystick that can easily be used with your index finger for panning and tilting to achieve multiple types of camera shots. The new encoder technology that are built-in the brushless motors offer more stability, increases torque and decreases the power consumption - making the gimbal's battery life last longer.

Vimeo user, SkyKapture, uploaded this wonderfully shot video of his group trying out a new chairlift that opened up at the Kirchdorf Ski Resort in Tirol, Austria. He shot the entire video with just his Panasonic GH4 with a Lumix G 14-140mm zoom 1:3.5-5.6 and the CAME-Mini 2 gimbal, all while he was riding on a snowboard!

The CAME-Mini 2 is a 3-axis gimbal that is extremely compact and entirely tool-less. All the electronics and wiring are enclosed through the frame, so there are no hanging wires in the way while you use it. It takes four rechargeable 18650 batteries that are inserted into the horizontal cross bar of the Mini 2. The gimbal comes with a custom molded carrying case, making it easier to transport while on location for a shoot.

Stein Olsen, posted this short test of his first try using the CAME-Single gimbal. It was shot in Norway and he used a Sony A7SII with a Zeiss 16-35 f4 Lens.
The encoders on the CAME-Single increase the torque, stabilization and helps give the gimbal a longer battery life. The CAME-Single itself weighs about 1.2kg and can carry mirror-less cameras like the BMPCC, Sony A7S/A7R cameras and the Panasonic GH4. There are three different mounting points on the grip itself - (2) 1/4-20" and (1) 3/8". The mounting points will allow the shooter to mount a monitor, microphone, tripod stand or even attach the CAME-Single to a jib. The joystick is incredibly smooth to use, giving you the option to pan and tilt as you use the CAME-Single.

Laurent BRIERE, follows French ultra trail runner, Yoann Stuck in this documentary style video called "Town To Trail". In the video Laurent Briere used the CAME-Single paired with his Panasonic GH-4 and 12-35mm F2.8 lens.

The CAME-Single is perfect for these types of shots that require a lot of tracking and movement. The CAME-Single has a max payload of about 2.6 lbs, making it perfect for mirror-less cameras. The pieces all fit into one carrying case, which make it extremely portable and easy to carry around between locations. The CAME-Single has internal rechargeable batteries that are built into the hand grip, giving the CAME-Single more power and stability due to a higher voltage output.

Andrew Gerard, posted this final scene from a short film he's been working on. The scene was filmed entirely with the CAME-Single gimbal and his Sony A7Rii with the Fe 28mm F2 lens!
The CAME-Single is one of the first basecam controlled gimbals that offer encoders. The encoders will prevent the motors from losing sync, increase torque/stabilization and decrease power consumption. The CAME-Single is perfect for mirror-less cameras like the Panasonic GH4, the Sony A7S series, A7RII and the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema cameras. If you haven't scene Andrew Gerard last Came-Single video, watch it below!

Last month we released a brand new accessory for the CAME-Single, a wireless joystick that allows you to control its pan & tilt movements remotely. It's definitely been a hit with customers so far. However, whether you are a current CAME-Single owner, or if you're looking to one day get one, it's important for us to point out that not all Singles will be compatible with the wireless remote upgrade.
singlejoystick
So how do you know if your Single is capable of the upgrade? The most important thing to note is that ALL CAME-Singles purchased after November 1, 2015 have been modified to contain a brand new circuit board that allows for connection of the wireless joystick receiver. CAME-Singles purchased before November 2015, will not have the same board, and hence are not capable of the wireless joystick upgrade.

single_joystickboard_split

If you do have a newer generation Single with the modified circuit board, then installation of the wireless remote receiver board is easy! Simply open up the handle, connect the receiver board to its corresponding port, and pair the remote. Full instructions can be found in the video below.
