Many customers who have purchased our line of 55w & 30w Boltzen lights have inquired whether or not the power adapters used for these lights are identical and/or interchangeable. The answer to both is NO. The 30w Boltzens use a 3.33A/40W power adapter, while the 55w Boltzens use a 5.0A/60W adapter.
If you own both sets of lights, please check the sticker on the power brick to make sure that you are using the proper adapter.

Today we're going green... green screen that is. As usual we're using the #Atomos Shogun as recorder for its excellent waveform monitor. The waveform monitor has improved my key hugely and I suggest everyone use it. Using #kinoflow lights to light the back wall and a combination of #Aputure and #cametv lights for the talent. The Boltzen 55w and the Boltzen 30w have the exact same housing with the exception of a built in cooling fan to dissipate the extra heat that the 55w produces. The lights can be powered from AC (with included power adapter), NP-F970 battery or V-Mount battery via the included V-Mount adapter cable providing convenient use on set and on location.
