Lucent Productions, posted his second CAME-ACTION gimbal test using his GoPro Hero 4 Black.

Like his last video, Lucent Productions, uses his CAME-ACTION gimbal to follow his kid around as he plays outside. The CAME-ACTION is great for quick and fast-paced shots that require you to follow a subject. The encoders on the CAME-ACTION give the gimbal increased stability, while increasing battery time by using less power. The CAME-ACTION can fit the GoPro Hero 3, 3+ and 4.  If you haven't scene Lucent Productions first test, make sure you check it out below.

CAME-7800 Gimbal Used In This BMX Video By Tempo Media UK

unnamed-5

Tempo Media UK, went out with his Panasonic GH4 and CAME-7800 and shot this video that showcases BMX rider, Jay Cowley.

The video shows how the CAME-7800 gimbal can be a good piece of equipment to have for shooting action sports like BMX, skateboarding, rollerblading, etc. The CAME-7800 is a great gimbal for DSLR cameras like the Canon 5Dmkiii or mkii but can also work with smaller cameras like a Panasonic GH4 or Sony A7s. Read More >

In this quick review, MrCheesyCam, goes over the CAME-TV 100m Wireless HD Video Transmitter Kit. Not only does he go over the specs, he even attaches it to his Panasonic GH4 camera and tests the range of the 100m Wireless HD Transmitter Kit.

The 100m HD Transmitter Kit make it extremely easier for the shooter and the director to collaborate together. The shooter can be filming as the director watches from a distance on an external monitor. The transmitter takes a common Canon LP-E6 battery and the receiver uses a Sony NP-F570/F750 battery. Syncing the transmitter and receiver requires you to simply cycle through the numbers by clicking the "Mode" button then hitting "Ok" to confirm.

Laurent BRIERE, posted this quick video of him filming some of his friends at a skatepark with his Panasonic GH4 and CAME-Single gimbal!
The CAME-Single is great for getting steady footage when you're shooting a scene that requires you to follow a subject that's continuously moving around. Laurent BRIERE, has posted a lot of videos in which he follows athletes as they compete in some form of competition. The CAME-Single is a 3-axis gimbal that's designed for you to use one-handed. The new encoder technology allows the CAME-Single to use less power, but also increase the overall stability.

Dieter Knüttel, goes through all the specs for the CAME-ACTION including the different modes and everything that comes in the box. The last few minutes of the video show a bunch of test footage he shot using the CAME-ACTION. The CAME-ACTION is able to work with the GoPro Hero 4, 3 and 3+.

CAME-ACTION Gimbal for the GoPro

Lucent Productions, was able to take the CAME-ACTION gimbal out to the park with his kid and  grab some quick test footage with his GoPro.

The CAME-ACTION is made for shooters who want to get some stable action shots with their GoPro camera. It runs on three rechargeable 16340 batteries , which are small, lightweight and portable. It's made of aluminum alloy and weighs in at 0.66 pounds without the camera and batteries. Since, we introduced the CAME-Single with new encoder technology, the CAME-ACTION also uses brushless motors with encoders, which will decrease the power consumption and increase the overall stability.

David Oastler, posted this detailed review of the CAME-Single 3-axis gimbal. He goes through the balancing process with his Sony A7s and toward the end of the video he shows some test footage that he captured while using the gimbal. (NOTE: David Oastler, does state that there was an audio problem with his mic).

The CAME-Single is a tool-less designed gimbal that is made for one-handed operation. The built in joystick allows you to pan and tilt your camera depending on your shot. To turn on the CAME-Single, you press and hold the button located on the side of the handle. To switch between the three different operating modes, you simple click the same button until the mode  you want is selected.

Ken Lauguico, posted this video that highlights a wedding he shot using the CAME-7500 and CAME-Single 3-axis gimbals. He used two different DSLR cameras, the Canon 6D and the Canon 5Dmkii.
The video has a ton of great tracking shots that follow the bride and the groom as they both get ready for the ceremony. The CAME-Single is  a great one handed gimbal that provides extremely steady footage because of the brushless motors with the new encoder technology. The CAME-Single is great for cameras like the Sony A7sii, Panasonic GH4 or the BMPCC.

Here's a quick informative video on how to check the voltage on your gimbal batteries!

If you happen to have a multi-tester laying around, it would be a good idea to check the batteries you have for your gimbal. You want to make sure your batteries are fully charged before testing the voltage.

Screen Shot 2015-10-30 at 11.10.29 AM

The 18650 batteries for the CAME-TV Mini/Mini 2 and the 16340 batteries for the CAME-ACTION gimbal should be reading at 3.7v or higher. The 3S Lipo Battery for the CAME-7800 and 8000 should be giving you a reading of 11v or higher.

Your card is formatted, talent's in place, and your gimbal is perfectly balanced. And just as you're about to roll camera.... your gimbal's battery dies. But wait? You charged your battery overnight, right? Even so, batteries, just like most things that involve power, have a shelf life.

The best way to avoid this nightmarish scenario is to test your batteries on a regular basis using a voltmeter/multitester. Among the many things it's capable of, a multitester can read the voltage of your battery and let you know if it has enough juice in it to perform. And just as easily, it can let you know if the battery is ready to be replaced.

If you don't own or readily have access to a voltmeter or multitester, then you can bring your battery(ies) into most electronics/repair shops or automotive garages. Most of these businesses will test your batteries for free.

Check multitester prices here.

1080 Digital Media, recently uploaded his second test of him using the CAME-Single gimbal. The majority of his first video was how it performed while walking. 1080 Digital Media, states that the main focus on this video was for driving and "following a person" shots. He used a Panasonic GH3 recording at 50fps, but states that Vimeo re-conformed it to 25P.

This is mainly a test for driving shots and following (a person) shots. These 2 areas are the rig's strong points so far.

Since the CAME-Single has brushless motors with encoders, it has the ability to make your driving shots incredibly smooth and more stable.

Recently, Stanly, posted this video of some shots he edited together using his Sony A7s with a Zeiss Loxia 2/50 lens balanced on a CAME-Single.

Even though the video is short, it looks like a very cinematic music video. The beginning shows the main soundcheck, but at the end it transitions directly into the bands live show. The CAME-Single gives the shooter incredibly smooth footage while operating the gimbal with just one hand. The CAME-Single is the first commercially available 3-axis 32-bit basecam controlled gimbal that offers brushless motors with encoders.
