Owners of our CAME-Argo and Mini 3 might have noticed something different in each gimbal's battery configuration. We are now using a battery case that has 18650 LiPo batteries allowing you to remove them, charge them and immediately replace them with a backup set of fully charged 18650 LiPo batteries that you might have on standby. This allows you to keep cycling through numerous sets of batteries for an extended gimbal run time.

As with all LiPo batteries it is never good to over-discharge the battery. Over-discharge is when a battery cell voltage drops below the level of circuit protection limit. Once a LiPo battery is over-discharged, it is more than likely that it cannot be recharged and new one would have to be purchased.

We strongly recommend that when the gimbal is not in use or is in storage, to remove the 18650 LiPo batteries from the battery case. Failure to do so can result in over-discharge of the battery/batteries.

Tom Antos, recently uploaded this detailed review on our CAME-ARGO Gimbal! Along with his overall impressions of the ARGO, he added some example footage he shot with the Canon 7D.

The CAME-ARGO features a 32-bit Alexmos Board and is completely tool-less for easy balancing. All of the motors are equipped with encoders, making the performance more smooth and accurate. The handle comes with a monitor mount and a wireless remote, which allows you to remotely control the gimbal and switch between modes. The entire top handle bar can be easily separated from the gimbal, allowing the ARGO to be mounted to other devices like a crane, slider or drone with the included adapter plate.

Youtube user, StabilizerNews uploaded this short film that follows a mountain biker as he goes for a ride through the woods. Except for the drone shots, the short was filmed mostly with the CAME-TV ARGO gimbal! He used the Canon 5DmkIII with two different lenses - the Canon 16-35mm & the Rokinon 35mm.
The CAME-ARGO features a 32 bit Alexmos Board and is completely tool-less. Vimeo user, BlackStunt Prod uploaded his latest demo reel that showcases a bunch of his most recent work. Most of the tracking shots that are in the demo reel were shot with the CAME-TV ARGO Gimbal!

BlackStunt Prod, filmed his projects with the Canon 70D with multiple lenses: the Canon 10-22mm, Canon 50mm f1.8 and a the Canon 24-70mm f2.8. He does mention that he also used a handheld stabilizer for some of the other shots. The CAME-ARGO features a 32 bit Alexmos board and is completely tool-less. Customers of our newer gimbals may have noticed that the battery charger kits for the CAME-Argo and Mini 3 are slightly different from how they used to be. With this slight change, there is an updated process on how to properly charge your batteries for these gimbals. See the video below for a simple step-by-step breakdown.

The blue LED indicator lights on the battery itself will not blink as it is charging. However, you can press the button to see the progress of the charge.
